The National Agriculture & Trade Show (NATS) is Belize’s leading agricultural show which is organized by the National Agriculture & Trade Show Committee in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture & Fisheries. Held in the Nation’s Capital the show is well attended as it attracted over 32,000 show goers over three days. The main objective of the show is to educating the public on the importance of agriculture and its contribution to the Belizean economy and food security. Since its establishment in 1970 the show has grown by leaps and bounds. The committee is working hard to bring back agriculture as the main focus of the show. In trying to achieve this goal the show ground has been divided into two zones, where only agricultural events, activities and displays will be hosted in zone one. This year the show will be inaugurated on the evening of Friday 29th April and ends on Sunday 1st May.
